The Graphic Design program is a Zhejiang Provincial First-Class Undergraduate Program with U.S. NASAD accreditation, demonstrating dual international and domestic recognition of its academic excellence. It moves beyond traditional graphics, deeply integrating technology and art, and covers cutting-edge areas like branding, motion graphics, and UI/UX. The program provides students with first-class facilities and regular access to industry leaders, broadening their professional perspectives. Graduates are equipped to pursue careers as designers, researchers, and managers across diverse fields including cultural media, brand communication, design education, curation, and expanding into experience and interaction design, emerging as innovative interdisciplinary talents suited to the digital-intelligent era. Most graduates advance to top global institutions such as Parsons School of Design and the Royal College of Art or establish themselves as creative designers at the forefront of the industry.

Program Features
In the past five years, faculty and students have won more than 100 prestigious domestic and international design awards, such as ADC (USA), iF & Red Dot Design Award (Germany), D&AD (UK), and Tokyo TDC (Japan). Student works have won or been shortlisted in various design competitions, including the Graphis New Talent (USA), UCDA Design Competition (USA), China Platinum Originality Design Award, Kan Tai-Keung Design Award, and China University Student Computer Design Competition. The college regularly holds the annual Thinking Creatively Conference and Let’s Charrette cross-disciplinary competition, inviting well-known designers and creative leaders to deliver lectures and engage with students. Guests have included Gail Anderson (2018 National Design Awards Lifetime Achievement Award recipient and AIGA Medalist), Gill Kuruneri (winner of One Show Gold Pencil and Cannes Gold Lions), Tommy Li (Hong Kong brand strategist), and AGI members such as Hong Wei, Zhao Qing, and Liu Zhao. GHK Hall, the dedicated building of the College of Architecture and Design, spans over 15,000 square meters, providing the Graphic Design program with comprehensive practical training facilities, including design studios, iMac labs, screen printing workshops, and photography studios.
